AWS services

If using AWS services, need to add credit card information before try to use those services.
Are there free AWS services for developers or contributors to this hackathon?

    Hi Maxim,

    We're providing $100 in promotional credit for use of AWS services so you shouldn't need to pay. Did you fill out the request form?

    Hi Khimee,
    Ok. Now I have filled out this form (I had doubts about filling out my card details).
    At the moment of card verification, one dollar was debited from the card.
    Just once again I would like to clarify: no funds will be debited from the card without my approval?

    Hi Maxim! I'll need to get back to you on this and chat with the AWS team for confirmation that no funds will be debited. Per the rules, "AWS Credits can only be applied to AWS services. Additional charges incurred by the Maker for the use of AWS Data Exchange or AWS Marketplace products are the responsibility of the Maker. Makers are encouraged to monitor their usage of free trials as to not incur additional charges."

    Therefore, I believe as long as you use the AWS promo code for AWS services then you shouldn't be charged (provided you're using it within the terms and conditions of AWS services).

    Hi Maxim -- a credit card is necessary to create the account because if you use more than the $100 in promotional credit for the allotted AWS services, then you would get charged.

    Or how can I find a guide to an AWS promo code and how to add this promo code to my profile?
